I do have to apologize for not having a picture of quite possibly the best BBQ chicken I have ever had. But, I can tell you what I did so you can enjoy it! Besides, it's way better to eat it than look at a picture of it.
- Place frozen chicken breasts on the bottom of your slow cooker. (I used 5 big ones)
- Pour a bottle of BBQ sauce over the chicken. (I used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar, 18 oz)
- Put in about half a medium onion (chopped or sliced)
- Put in heaping teaspoon of chopped garlic
- Pour in some lemon juice
- Pour in some cooking sherry
- Cook until done (low = slower, high = faster)
- Remove chicken breasts and shred
- Place shredded chicken back in the slow cooker with all the sauce and keep it warm until you're ready to serve it.
